Food is ok. Upstairs is very MUSTY. Service = mediocre. No personalities.

I feel very lucky to have this good of a Thai place in my neighborhood. It is consistently good. Quirky phone and timing sometimes, but really tasty. Favorites are the Pad Thai, drunken noodle and crispy spring rolls.

Surely a place worth stopping over, the food is awesome and fresh, the prices are fair and it is always clean in here. 5 stars.

The food and the drinks were delicious. The service was extraordinary. The manager was so friendly and recommended great dishes for us.

Great service with great food! The outdoor patio is really cute and the indoor area is very much a small hole in the wall type feel and place.

I tried this place already with a friend and I am addicted since then. I liked the great atmosphere and tasty dishes and drinks. They never disappoint.

This is a solid Thai restaurant. Not the best in the area, but it definitely has good food and service. It has a cute patio, too.

My last experience was the last straw..went on a Sunday and was greeted by a closed sign during posted business hours. Walked the block for a while and came back. Shortly after browsing the menus, we were greeted by a cockroach on our table in full view of a staff person who just blankly stared while we got up and left.

Great food and cozy little place. The basil fried rice and spring rolls are my staples, and they never disappoint. There's also outdoor seating if you are so inclined

Yummy Pad Thai!

The atmosphere was nice, nicer than most places on Mount Vernon Ave. First time having Thai food and duck. Tho I didn't like the duck, my Drunken Noodles were amazing. Steamed dumpling appetizer was good, has a strange hint of carrot which was good. Best part is this place has carry out and delivery. Definitely recommend and will be back!

This place has really good food. Ive tried a few different things there and each has been good. The drunk noodles and pad thai are delicious.

I will be back to Thai Peppers! I had a fantastic Tom-Yum soup. It was pretty spicy. After that I had the Pad Thai that was "Thai hot". It was excellent! It was a spiciness that slowly built, bite after bite. By the time I was done my eyes were slightly watery, my sinuses where clear and I wanted more! Next time.-I've been back many now and Thai Peppers is consistently the best Thai around. The Chicken Satay was perfect, and as always, so was the Tom-Yum soup, with shrimp this time!

Good food but terrible ambiance.

A small restaurant that delivers a grand experience

The Drunken noodles and sticky rice were very good, although the portions were smaller than I've experienced at other Thai restaurants. My husband's curry dish had the wrong meat and was a very runny curry. I wouldn't recommend the calamari. So, overall, it's ok.

I ordered take out from the Alexandria location today. The staff emerged from the kitchen wearing no mask (city mandate requires mask in public places during pandemic). She donned a mask to collect my payment. My pad thai had no green onion, egg or tofu as advertised. No lime today either. I tried to call to voice my concerns but no one answered my call. I've enjoyed this restaurant in the past but was disappointed today.

Very good tom kah soup and curried duck. Recently returned from Thailand and the tom kha soup tastes pretty similar. Will definitely be returning here

Authentic thai. Great spices. Great prices. This place seems to do a booming take-out business as well, as the phone is ringing off the hook for take-out every time I am there.

3 stars because amazing customer service even for online delivery. worked with my allergies, but biggest issue. my pad thai wasn't spicy, in fact really didn't have any taste at all.. was pretty bland. I know it's NoVa, and they cater to American tastes I guess. By American they mean a specific demographic of American known for invading the world for spices only to not use it in their food. Anyway yea, I'm not in that demographic... Well no way they could've known over the phone.. But I will give this place another go today. Their customer service is top notch.

Place smells not so good. However food is good/ok and after you there for a few minutes you get immune to the smell. Note: food takes long to arrive and service not so good.

Don't listen to any naysayers. The pad thai is the most tasty and delicious that I've had in my life. You must try the pineapple fried rice dish as well. Incredible. I've had both take out and sit down service and I've never been disappointed.

Enjoyed eating outside. Nothing fancy. My date liked her soup. I did not, but I enjoyed my seafood dish.

This is one of our all time favorite Thai places. The inside decor looks a little dated, but don't let that dissuade you - the food is just excellent. Go when it's great weather out and sit on their downright lovely outdoor porch and ignore the inside decor all together. Drunken Noodle with tofu is one of our favorites.

Good food and service

Normally, we get delivery from Thai Peppers. The food is very good Thai food. Not the best I've ever had, but it tastes fresh and has a wide range of flavors from which to choose. There are items which are nice and spicy, and others with no spice so a very good variety. I find their crispy spring rolls to be excellent in terms of appetizers. They make some very good curry dishes, too, if that is your thing. The one time we ate in person it was on the patio for lunch. They do lunch specials and it was MORE than enough food for a very reasonable price. I highly suggest if you work in the area to give the lunch specials a try.

Delicious authentic Thai food. The green curry with shrimp is fantastic. Spring rolls are also good. They don’t taste overly fried. The Thai spicy is HOT! Lunch special is a great deal and satisfying @ $7.95

Great food, the staff can get a little overwhelmed when there is an unexpected rush of guests but it has always been a pleasant experience. Bring your coat in the winter. Like many other old buildings around here this place has a hard time keeping warm. In the spring the outdoor seating is great!

We have loved this restaurant for over 10 years, but since they have gotten a new manager recently, the place has really suffered. When we order for take out, our order is always wrong. Last time, I found a hair in my food! It makes me so sad to say this, but Thai Peppers just isn't what it used to be. The service has suffered when we are there in the restaurant as well. We have been going there so long that most of the staff knows us, but the new manager doesn't like us and he just scowls at all of us. The first time I ordered take out and they got my order wrong, he yelled at me and told me they would never deliver to me again. He then proceeded to want the food back....all of it back, regardless if it had been eaten or not.I hope they figure things out, I miss eating there.....

I live in the neighborhood and eat here frequently. The quality is always consistently great. A local favorite.

Good Thai, we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. The Pad See Ew was on point, no complaints.

They always seem to get my simple order wrong for some reason. But the food is good so I always go back.
